La Guajira, Colombia — Wayúu crafts

Before Pausayú, many of its artisans lived for months without a stable income. Today, the brand is building something that goes beyond a product with Wayúu communities: certainty, recognition, and respect for an ancestral craft.

Each bag woven from palm, each piece that takes between 14 and 27 hours to create, is also the story of a person who decided that tradition deserved a dignified future.

Angie and her husband are building something. They haven't finished it — they're raising it right now, with the same dedication with which each of their lamps takes shape: slowly, by hand, with purpose.

Casa Prisma is born from the dialogue between weaving and metal. Their ceiling, floor, and desk lamps have geometric shapes that don't scream — they balance. They create that atmosphere one seeks in a space and doesn't always know how to name. Added to these are rugs, cushions, placemats, and macrame tapestries that invite one to inhabit spaces with calm.

When we spoke with Angie, what resonated most with us wasn't the product — it was the humility with which she told us about her dreams. That's what Casa Prisma has: the honesty of a brand that still believes in everything it does because it still remembers why it started.

Medellín, Colombia

Dayan didn't study design at any famous school. She built her workshop with intention, persistence, and her own hands. When she opened her doors to us in Medellín, she showed us every corner with the pride of someone who knows the exact value of what she has created—because she built it herself, step by step.

We met her at a fair. And it was one of those times when you not only fall in love with a product, but with the person behind it. Her handbags are the result of that concrete, everyday, stubborn love for handmade work. Today, her brand is growing nationwide, and we believe that we are only just seeing the beginning.
